Dr Oritseweyinmi Orighoye

Dr Oristeweyinmi Erikowa-Orighoye is an early career researcher at Leeds Beckett University. Her work is centred around nutrition, physical activity among diverse ethnic groups, good health and wellbeing, quality education, clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, reducing inequalities and climate action. She enjoys piloting sustainable development projects in health, education, and the environment in schools and communities. She also gives advisory support to a few non-governmental organisations across the globe. She is a global health mentor for the Global Health Mentorships (Sweden), Progeny Cerebrum (Nigeria), Counselling Team Lead (Ruach Teens Wellspring, Nigeria) and a Squiggly Career Advocate (UK).

Dr Weyinmi equips young people between the ages of 16-35 years with tools and resources for their personal development and wellbeing, through a platform called Moments with Dr Weyoms. Her core focus is physical health, spiritual life, career, relationships, and mental well-being.
