The Center for Adolescent Sexual Health and Development (CASHD) is expanding our team! We're looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to serve as Peer Education Coordinators across the Federal Capital Territory.
About the Role
As a Peer Education Coordinator, you will:
- Recruit, train, and mentor young peer educators
- Facilitate interactive health education workshops
- Coordinate school-based and community health programs
- Develop age-appropriate educational materials
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
- Build partnerships with schools and community organizations
- Represent CASHD at youth health events and conferences
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience working with adolescents
- Strong facilitation and training skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for adolescent sexual and reproductive health
- Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, social media)
Preferred:
- Experience in peer education or youth development programs
- Knowledge of adolescent development and health issues
- Familiarity with participatory teaching methodologies
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation
- Fluency in local languages
